a vampyre would be from Europe.

The i/y.

one hails from europe. one from transalvania.

Actually, a vampyre is a German term.

one is fake and the other is definitely fake

Ok for the guy who said “one hails from europe. one from transalvania.” you really need to look at a world map. Transalvania is a region of the EUROPEAN country Albania. So if Transalvania is in Albania and Albania is in Europe that would mean they both “hail” from the same area. And there is no diffirence between a vampire and a vampyre, they both are the same thing the spelling is the only diffirence. So for future reference people should consult a world map and a dictionary before they start to speak out of there asses about subjects they no nothing about

Vampire is the more modern, english version of spelling vampyre.
