Dracula’s Lament (full song)

Fans of the movie ‘Forgetting Sarah Marshall’ are sure to remember Jason’s puppet musical featuring Dracula. Well Jason and Dracula are back will a full and much more upbeat version of ‘Dracula’s Lament’. Backed by The Broken West, this was their performance on the 1000th episode of The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. No news on a full musical yet, we can but hope that ‘A Taste for Love’ will be released in the near future ;) Follow me on Twitter twitter.com

@xCuteCharmz No….

@xCuteCharmz Thought so too… at first. But he’s not ^^

Such a good song!

@TlalocDiosDelAgua Well what also needs to be understood is that originally this was not meant for children (when done in Sarah Marshall). Also when you think of the broadway musical “Avenue Q” the actors are shown at all times. It was still an awesome show and is performed live as this video was. Not mention, when Jim Henson was alive, he made live appearances with kermit and most children didn’t even notice. Children didn’t need Jim to be hidden for kermit to be alive to them.

Jason Segel is awesome and all… but why ruin this by having to show your self? If I saw Jim Henson playing Kermit while watching Muppet’s in Manhattan, I think I’d remove the magic. Excellent Song non the less. Bravo

This should definitely be made into a real play. It’s one musical that I would actually want to watch.

I wish I could see the whole play, it looked kind of cool..!

I am in love with Jason Segel

Jason Segal you are a great singer, writer and movie maker. But for the love of God never do a full frontal on ANY of your movies. Saw Sarah Marshall for the first time with my little brother and Girlfriend……WOW. Lol, but this song is loaded my i Pod. Everytime I feel like killing myself or think of the Love I lost…this makes it all go away. The beat lyrics and the simplicity of it. Top 100 songs.

glorious

Wait… is that Paul Rudd with him?

This is better than Twilight.

i was just waiting for dracula to start counting… one lament HA HA HA

@unlabledchicka92 If you like this then listen to The Flower Kings a vampires point of view from their album Adam & Eve

Oh my gosh, he’s so adorable. And the way he’s looking at the puppet is really cute.

@joannajean “this was their performance on the 1000th episode of The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson.” - it’s in the description.

I don’t have time to read 300+ comments…but is this from SNL?? This musical was so freaking awesome! I wish they would release it as a full show.

@NoekieB eh, didnt think so

@lukassnakeman Haha, no dude. He’s SegEl, not SegAl. :D

hes like ghandi, but better, he likes puppets

This has to be one of the weirdest things to watch out of context…

Although that doesn’t make it any less awesome.

@Likodemus Mine was intentional. You failed there, Grammar Nazi.

@TweekDash “CAUS”??

@Doomsday2424 Bullshit. You intentionally typed times caus you didn’t look up the correct lyrics first.
