Frank Langella? is the sexiest Dracula ever! He can take a bite out of me anyday

@ejeevika Not quite. Klaus Kinski’s version of him was moving, repulsive, and pitiful. The book’s Count is perfect: seductive, rapacious,? predatory, gentlemanly, prideful, utterly evil.

@mybabba I know that this comment is two years old, but I just want to say that his charisma likely comes from his history as a stage actor. You NEED charisma to be memorable on? stage, when you can’t rewind or rewatch the same performance.

Langella is the ideal Count Dracula (more ideal than the? book character)

@VideoMask93
Oh yeah I’ve seen that too. I personally liked it enough (or at least I liked it more than other films by Franco and more than Coppola’s version or the really bad Dracula films) though my biggest complaint was how little Kinski had to do. He was trying, but the character was very limited in that version. Still it’s interesting how it came full circle with? him.

@balrog13571 What’s also cool is that Klaus Kinski? (who played Dracula in Herzog’s remake) played Renfield in a low-budget adaptation of Dracula alongside Christopher Lee as Dracula.

Not bad for? a kid from Bayonne, New Jersey!

Langella? a legend!

I love his sophistication, there would be so much to learn from a character like the one Langella created.?

this is the best version with? the best ending.

It woulda been neat to? see Langella as Bond. Hah.

Frank Langella is Awesome !?

You want to know what’s funny? This movie came out in 1979 the same year Herzog remade Nosferatu. Bruno Ganz played the role of Jonathan Harker. Recently both of them appeared and did a scene together in the recent movie Unknown. I was watching that? and thinking ‘It’s like Dracula and Harker are meeting in a completely different film!’. Of course they’ve done other things, but being a Dracula fan I just noticed that. Love this movie as well. Langella is such a great Dracula.

good? lord

una de las mejores versiones de? Dracula.

I? have a deep masculine voice, but I envy his. Next to him I sound like a little child.
