Hammer breathed new life into the genre. Christopher Lee made a very tigerish and sexy Dracula-impressive since he only had about a dozen lines of actual dialogue in the whole movie! And Peter Cushing made a very stoic and intense Van Helsing. Lee and Lugosi will always be the two greatest Dracula’s ever.

CHRISTOPHER LEE, was the scariest and most violent DRACULA..the way HAMMER FILMS made him up and being 6′-6″ he was the master of impending doom..i remember as a kid sitting in the theater watching coming attractions for his DRACULA movies..he scared the HELL out of me..CHRISTOPHER LEE, made it tough for me to sleep…
